DSLC-2 / MLSC-2
The Woodward DSLC-2™ (Digital Synchronizer and Load Control) is a microprocessor-based synchronizer and load control designed for use on three-phase AC generators. The DSLC-2 combines synchronizer, load sensor, load control, dead bus closing system, VAR, power factor and process control, all in one powerful package.
The Woodward MSLC-2™ is a microprocessor based load control designed for three-phase electric power generation sites equipped with our DSLC-2™ (Digital Synchronizer and Load Controls). Woodward combines the original MSLC with a decade of application experience, to develop the new MSLC-2.
Easy set up
This guarantees an easy start-up regardless of the ambient temperature and avoids the mechanical breakages associated with the cold start. The system offers the following advantages: fuel economy, clean-up, reduction of the engine wear, removal of difficult start-ups in cold weather.
– Complex application with up to 8 bus segments,
– Automatic generator soft loading and unloading for bumpless load transfer.
– PLC and DCS compatible via Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP,
– Automatic segment recognition.
For isolated multiple generator systems, the MSLC-2 can be used to operate tie breaker between groups of generators using the DSLC-2 controls.
